CH Program #6: Previewing the Week, Award Predictions

Episode #6 includes music from the Beastie Boys, Lil' Flip, and Method Man. We looked ahead at what's ahead for the Timberwolves, and predicted who will win things such as MVP, Coach of the Year, etc.

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Hello, everyone. Tonight, the Minnesota Timberwolves are in Memphis taking on the Grizzlies. It's the season opener for both clubs. Yay, basketball.

Tonight, the Wolves are on the road but will return home to play the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls at Target Center later this week. Storylines also mentioned:

  • J.J. Barea - Adios.
  • Glenn Robinson III - Will he spend time in the D-League? One would think, but Flip Saunders' interesting comments on the structure of the NBA's minor league and how playing with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants may not be the best place for Robinson III.
  • Anthony Bennett or Ricky Rubio: Which is more likely to win Most Improved Player of the Year?
