Wolves at Mavericks First Half Game Thread

The Wolves are looking to end a 4-game losing streak tonight in Dallas. Can they do it without Ricky Rubio and Thad Young in the lineup? Probably not. But we can still chat about it here.

After getting blown out by 48 points to the Pelicans last night, in New Orleans, it wouldn't be shocking to see head coach Flip Saunders switch things up tonight; which could mean changes to the starting lineup and rotations in general.

Expected Starters?

Wolves:

Zach LaVine, Kevin Martin, Andrew Wiggins, Gorgui Dieng, and Nikola Pekovic.

For what's it worth, I'd start Anthony Bennett alongside Pekovic instead of Dieng. Saunders decided to start his centers -- Dieng and Pekovic -- next to each other in last night's blowout loss to the Pelicans, because Thad Young sat out due to the death of his mother, and the results were not lovely (to put it nicely).

We'll see if Flip sticks with G and Pek together in the starting lineup tonight, but I probably wouldn't. Dieng is not a power forward whatsoever and provides a big lift off the bench anyways.

Mavericks:

Jameer Nelson, Monta Ellis, Chandler Parsons, Dirk Nowitzki, and Tyson Chandler.
