131-117 makes it sound closer than it actually was. The Mavs blew this open early in the 2nd quarter, and it was not competitive after that.
John will have a recap later, but the Wolves cannot stop anyone at this point. 130+ for the 2nd consecutive night. They have nobody who can actually defend.
Kevin Martin had a big night offensively with 34 points after a disaster last night.
The brightest spot might have been Shabazz Muhammad, who scored 18 points on 6-7 shooting in 14 minutes. He looked good, and, much to my surprise, has earned regular playing time.
Zach LaVine had the game I expected him to have every game. Just awful. Andrew Wiggins was frustratingly invisible. Pek was poor in the first half then benched, though Dieng wasn't any better.
The Mavs got whatever they wanted, matching a franchise record for points in the paint as the Wolves could not stop penetration.
I made a delicious chicken Marsala, though, with the concept provided by @toadsongs (aka Mrs. Slowbreak). She is a wonderful colored pencil artist, by the way. Anyway, she wrote about the Marsala here. I served mine over noodles. It turned out good.
