Thad Young left last night's game against the Bulls in the 2nd quarter after a collision with Jimmy Butler and did not return. He took a shoulder to the head and appeared groggy afterward. The team reported that he suffered a strained neck, but according to reports today, he is fine and should be available for the Wolves next game on Wednesday.

This is good news as he was probably the Wolves best performer in the first two games. Anthony Bennett and Robbie Hummel performed admirably in his absence (and Hummel made a case for more regular playing time), but Young is essential to the Wolves this season as their starting power forward.

A note about sponsorship:

For your information. There will be two FanDuel sponsored posts a week at Canis. One of them will be like this one: just including a link to FD, but not dedicated FD content. The other will be about FD...probably about my travails in the game. I have to admit I've been having fun playing even though I haven't won anything yet. Of course, it's not my money, so there's that.

Anyway. Go check out FanDuel. There's my link. Job done.
