The Wolves road trip continues in Portland tonight with the first meeting of the year between these Northwest division foes. The Blazers are off to an excellent 12-4 start, and have looked good on both sides of the ball.

Damian Lillard has the flu, and it isn't clear whether he will play tonight, but the Blazers, coming off a loss to the Grizzlies on Friday which ended a nine game winning streak, have plenty of weapons with or without their point guard.

LaMarcus Aldridge leads the Blazers in scoring and could be a tough match up for the Wolves who lack the length to challenge his shots on the perimeter. Wesley Matthews is shooting 39% from three and getting plenty of looks.

I'm mostly hoping to see some encouraging stuff from some of the young guys over the next two nights in Portland and back in Los Angeles against the Clippers. Wins are not very likely.

Expected lineups

Blazers

Damian Lillard (Steve Blake)
Wesley Matthews
Nicolas Batum
LaMarcus Aldridge
Robin Lopez

Wolves

Mo Williams
Corey Brewer
Andrew Wiggins
Thaddeus Young
Gorgui Dieng
