Pacers at Timberwolves First Half Game Thread

The Wolves get started on their post All-Star break schedule by hosting the East leading Pacers at Target Center.

The Wolves host the Pacers on ESPN tonight and it will be their last home game for a while, as they head out on a five game road trip following tonight's tilt.

The Pacers are, of course, leading the Eastern Conference behind a ferocious defense that forces mostly contested jump shots, as Roy Hibbert protects the rim and their long arms and athleticism defend the perimeter.

It's going to be difficult for the Wolves to find points tonight, especially as they remain without two of their three primary scorers. Nikola Pekovic and Kevin Martin remain out with injuries, which requires that others besides Kevin Love find a way to score. It's gonna be tough.

However, let's relive last year's Wolves-Pacers tilt at Target Center. Fun times:

Ah, AK, you are missed.
