Suns at Wolves
2:30 pm Central
FSN
I almost missed the fact that this is an afternoon tilt--good thing I double checked the schedule. Anyway, yesterday Key Dae suggested that the Wolves might be better off losing this one, since if the Wolves pass the Suns they will probably lose their draft pick thanks to the Wes Johnson trade.
I dunno. Every year we say they have to hit a home run in the draft. That it's the vital off-season for the franchise. But we continue to putter along, stalling out along the way. In truth, at this point, I just want to win games.
At any rate, the Suns have been much better then expected this season; Jeff Hornacek appears to know what he's doing. He's been getting tremendous work out of players we wouldn't have expected it from: Gerald, Green, the Morrisii. The Suns handed the Wolves one of the more dispiriting losses of the season earlier in the year at Target, when Green hit a game winner from the baseline in a game the Wolves seemed to have under control late. The Wolves were able to repay the favor in a win in Phoenix last month. This will be their final meeting of the year.
Expected lineups
Suns
Goran Dragic
Eric Bledsoe
P.J. Tucker
Channing Frye
Miles Plumlee
Wolves
Ricky Rubio
Kevin Martin
Corey Brewer
Kevin Love
Gorgui Dieng
For the Wolves, J.J. Barea is questionable with a sore foot.
This is your first half game thread. This is a link to Bright Side of the Sun. Be excellent.
None of the things we don't want.
Enjoy the game. Go Wolves.
