Spurs at Wolves
7:00 pm Central
FSN+
The Spurs are in town for the only time this year for a makeup game after the scheduled tilt in Mexico City in December was cancelled due to fire.
The Spurs will be without Tony Parker, who has a back strain, but they are still the Spurs. On the verge of clinching the best record in the NBA, they once again are cruising along late in the year, merely winners of 20 of their last 21 ball games.
They are in the top five in offensive and defensive rating, and have nobody averaging 30 minutes a game. It's an incredible testament to their depth, development, and coaching. Since drafting Tim Duncan, their worst winning percentage is ,610. That is incredible. Amazingly, they have a chance to post their best record in franchise history this year; they went 63-19 in 2005-06.
The Wolves will be without Kevin Martin, Nikola Pekovic, Chase Budinger, and Shabazz Muhammad. Othyus Jeffers will be available.
Dante Cunningham will apparently also be available and will play. He released the following (non) statement through the team a couple of hours ago:
"The charges and accusations in my personal life have unintentionally placed my teammates and the organization in a challenging position. I cannot comment on the charges, as we require that the facts play out through the legal process. Thank you for your understanding."
Expected lineups
