NBA Free Agency Too Quiet; Lynx Defeat Shock

Everyone waits on LeBron James, who is taking his time. The Summer Wolves head to Vegas. The Lynx beat the Tulsa Shock on the road.

USA TODAY Sports

I thought we would see some major dominoes fall yesterday, as I expected a decision from LeBron James and/or Carmelo Anthony, but we got neither, leaving the NBA world to speculate endlessly.

It's getting a little out of hand. People actually started camping out in front of James' Cleveland area house...and he wasn't there, as he went from Las Vegas (where he was holding a camp) to Miami, before, reportedly, heading down to Brazil for the World Cup Final.

We really need something to happen.

The Summer Wolves head out of Las Vegas, where they begin their play tomorrow at 5:30 CDT.  The game will be replayed at 12:30 am on Sunday morning on NBA TV.  Zach is out there and will be filing some reports.

The Lynx beat the Shock in Tulsa last night 91-85 behind Maya Moore's 33 and Lindsay Whalen's near triple-double (21 pts., 10 assts., 9 rebs).  The Lynx are now 15-6 on the season, 2nd in the Western Conference behind the Phoenix Mercury who have won 8 in a row and are 14-3 overall.

No Today in History because it's late and I'm feeling lazy.
