Report: Bulls Back in Mix for Love, Cavaliers Still in "Lead"

An ESPN article by Marc Stein and Brian Windhorst lays out the situation according to their sources.

Citing sources "close to the situation," ESPN NBA reporters Marc Stein and Brian Windhorst claim that:

the Cavs are increasingly optimistic that they are progressing toward a trade framework that the Minnesota Timberwolves will accept in exchange for Love to pair him with his Team USA teammate LeBron James.

Cleveland's offer, sources said, would be headlined by No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins, 2013's No. 1 overall pick Anthony Bennett and a future first-round pick.

Meanwhile, the article also reveals that the Bulls are re-entering the fray for Love, even after the signing of Pau Gasol. It is unknown which players the Bulls would offer, but the Wolves would no doubt want Taj Gibson, Jimmy Butler, and more in exchange for Love.

It appears the main focus remains on the Cavs, though I think I would prefer the right Bulls package (this entirely hinges on your view of Andrew Wiggins, of course).

Stuff is happening. Or it isn't.
