Today, the Wolves announced who they'll be sending to Las Vegas to participate in the 2nd annual, NBA Las Vegas Summer League Tournament. The Minnesota Timberwolves have a busy week ahead of them as they'll begin preparing for the upcoming, 2014-2015, season.

The team will a mini-camp, with practices from July 7th-10th, and host an open scrimmage available to the public on Wednesday-- the Target Center will open at 7:00PM [July 9th] and admission will be free for those who wish to attend.

The Wolves will attend NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, which, for the second consecutive year, will feature a tournament-style schedule-- teams will compete in three preliminary round games from July 11-15 before being seeded in a tournament running through the Championship Game on July 21. Each team is guaranteed to play at least five games. Minnesota's first preliminary matchup is Saturday, July 12th, against the Dallas Mavericks.

Flip Saunders' entire assistant coaching staff, which consists of David Adelman, Sid Lowe, Sam Mitchell and Ryan Saunders, will split coaching responsibilities throughout the trip. The Wolves' LVSL roster includes; Zach LaVine, Glenn Robinson III, Shabazz Muhammad, Gorgui Dieng and Alexey Shved. Here's the entire roster:

Looks like Robbie Hummel or Othyus Jeffers, who became unrestricted free agents on July 1st, will be looking to catch on with another team for the '14-'15 season.

The Wolves second game takes place Sunday, 7/13, 9:30pm (CT) against the Washington Wizards, and preliminary round play will end Tuesday, 7/15, 3:30pm (CT) after a matchup against the Chicago Bulls. I haven't perused many of the other rosters, but the Wolves look like they'll have a pretty strong group representing them in Las Vegas over the next two weeks. The entertaining portion of the tournament will be how the assistant coaches distribute the head coaching duties amongst themselves.
