Following a private event for the corporate sponsors and high end ticket holders last night, the Wolves will introduce their new players to the general public today at the State Fair. Here's what the looked like yesterday. Zach LaVine wins the suit game:

Elsewhere, the Phoenix Mercury finished off a sweep of the L.A. Sparks on Sunday night, setting up the Western Conference Finals matchup between the Mercury and Lynx. The series opens Friday in Phoenix, and game two is scheduled for Target Center on Sunday night. This is a huge hurdle for the Lynx, as the Mercury were the best team in the league this season, and both of these teams are better than anyone in the East. If you missed it yesterday, I put up a neat story about a girl who will definitely be at Sunday's game.
The FIBA World Cup begins on Saturday; hopefully you all saw RBE's fantastic preview that is on the front page. We'll leave it up there this week, and then cover the action as best we can once the tournament starts. The U.S. opens group play against Finland on Saturday at 2:30 pm CDT.
The Puerto Rican team is also getting ready for the World Cup, led by the inimitable J.J. Barea:
