Each year, a survey of the incoming NBA rookies is taken to see what they think of their classmates. This year's survey has some stuff for Wolves fans:
Zach LaVine was voted the most athletic rookie, with 56% of the vote, followed by Andrew Wiggins with 30%. Jumpy!
Interestingly, despite being the number one overall pick, Wiggins didn't fare particularly well in this survey. Jabari Parker was the overwhelming favorite for Rookie of the Year, with Wiggins in a tie for second with Doug McDermott at 8.3% of the vote.
Wiggins and LaVine were tied for a distant 4th (5.4%) in the question of who will have the best career, behind Parker, McDeromott, and the Suns' T.J. Warren.
Wiggins failed to crack the top 10 on which rookie is the best defender, which is surprising given his reputation. The group likes K.J. McDaniels and Marcus Smart for that one.
Glen Robinson III was 2nd in "most overlooked" rookie.
Just a little bit to pass the time.
