David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

Hello, everyone. Hope you're enjoying the day off, that's if you have the day off anyway. Unfortunately, this thread is being posted later than expected as I have the honorable pleasure of being at the office today. Sorry for the delay.

Earlier this morning, Senegal defeated Croatia, 77-75, behind a 27 point effort from Gorgui DiengDario Saric was the leading scorer for the Croatians with 16 points. Croatia connected on a three with nearly zero time remaining on the clock making the score appear closer than it was. It was a hard fought game on both sites.

Noon: France vs. Egypt
3:00 PM: Spain vs. Brazil

Group B.

Also this morning, only moments ago, Serbia defeated Iran 83-70. In the losing effort, Iranian big man Hamed Haddadi led all scorers with 29 points. The Serbs had three players score in double-digits the result of this game was never really in any doubt. Miloš Teodosić added eight points and nine assists in the victory.

10:30 AM: Argentina vs. Philippines
1:00 PM: Puerto Rico vs. Greece

Enjoy the games today, peeps. Eric should be back soon to restore order in the CanisHoopus community. Well, maybe that's a stretch, at least things will be published and promoted at their regularly scheduled time.

Here's a song just because.
