Lynx at Mercury

The Lynx will attempt to reach the WNBA Finals for the fourth year in a row tonight against the favored Phoenix Mercury in a decisive game three in Phoenix.
Following a comprehensive win for the Mercury in the opening game of the series, the Lynx came back from a double figure deficit to win game two at home behind Maya Moore's 32 points and big games from co-stars Lindsay Whalen and Seimone Augustus.
To get a win tonight in Phoenix the Lynx will have to be at their best, as they have not beaten the Mercury on the road in three tries this season. Phoenix, led by Diana Taurasi and emerging big Brittney Griner have established themselves as the best team in the league this year, and will be very tough to beat.
Rebounding will be a key, as the winner of the offensive rebound battle has won each of the first two games of the series. The Lynx will also have to figure out how to get better shots against a stingy Mercury defense, as they have managed just 40% from the field in each game so far. That won't be good enough to win tonight.
A third championship in four years is in sight for the Lynx, but the biggest obstacle is likely the one the face tonight. Win or lose, it's been a great team to watch. You shouldn't miss this one.
