Timberwolves Notes: Mo Williams Player of the Week

Just a few notes for your Tuesday morning.

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning all.

Still trying to put that debacle in Charlotte behind me.  I'm debating whether my favorite moment was Miroslav "I'm repped by Rob Babcock's nephew" Raduljica's 3 second first half appearance or...nope, that was it.

Mo Williams was named Western Conference Player of the Week after his 52 point explosion in Indiana. Words from the Wolves press release:

The NBA today named Minnesota Timberwolves guard Mo Williams as its NBA Western Conference Player of the Week for the week of Jan.12-18. This is the first such award for Williams in his 13 years in the NBA. Williams is the seventh Wolves player to win Player of the Week honors: Kevin Love (2 times), Nikola Pekovic, Al Jefferson (2), Sam Cassell, Kevin Garnett (15), Stephon Marbury.

Mike Malone, who is not repped by Rob Babcock's nephew or any other family member won't be around too much longer:

The Mike Malone guest coach era won't soon be forgotten.

Wednesday against the Mavericks is the Wolves next outing, and will mark the halfway point of another slog of a season. Ugh. Does that mean I have to do an article reviewing the first half? Mid-season grades? Does anyone actually pass?
