Sunday in the NBA: Open Thread

New, comments

A decent slate for this November Sunday. What's on your mind?

Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning. I thought we needed a morning thread with our coffee and croissants, so here you go.

A few decent games on the slate today though the Wolves are not in action. Things get underway this afternoon with a 2:30 top between the Raptors and Clippers, and later we've got the Mavs vs. Thunder, and Warriors vs. Nuggets among other games.

What's on your mind basketball (or not) wise this morning?

I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving--off to the parents place in Philadelphia for lots of eating and drinking. Anyone have any interesting plans for the holiday?

Today is the 52nd anniversary of when the CIA and the mafia killed John Kennedy in Dallas. I have that right, don't I?

Speaking of Dallas, how are the Mavericks 9-4? Seriously. Carlisle must be a wizard. Getting All-Star level performance from older guys like Dirk, Deron Williams, and Zaza Pachulia, finding useful roles for guys like Dwight Powell and Jeremy Evans?

Some of it is smoke and mirrors; they won't finish 3rd in the conference. Will they?

What else is going on?

Happy Sunday.
