Hawks at Wolves
7:00 pm CST
FS North
The Hawks visit the Wolves at Target Center the night before Thanksgiving, and they will be looking to split the season series between the two clubs after the Wolves beat them in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago. That was the game in which the Wolves built a mammoth 34 point lead in the third quarter before the Hawks came roaring back and actually got in front briefly before the Wolves pulled it together and won pulling away.
That was the Wolves best shooting game of the year, led by Andrew Wiggins' career high 33 on 15-22 from the field. As a team, the Wolves shot over 57%, something they obviously can't count on. They need to limit their turnovers, control the glass, and make sure the Hawks don't get hot from beyond the arc if they want to finish off the season sweep.
The Hawks went into something of a tailspin after that loss to the Wolves; having entered 7-1 on the season, including the Wolves game they proceeded to lose four of their next five. They are coming into this one on the 2nd night of a back to back but seemed to find their mojo last night in a home blowout over the Celtics. They now stand 10-6 on the season.
