Timberwolves vs. Grizzlies Game Thread

The Wolves look to rebound with a win over Memphis after the falling to Chicago last night.

Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports

Hello, everyone.

The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Memphis Grizzlies tonight, Saturday Feb. 28. Tip-off will occur sometime around 7:00 PM Central Time. Check it out on TV at Fox Sports North. I'm going to leave a few notes. This is your game thread.

Last time these teams met, Ricky Rubio scored 8 of his 17 points in the final two minutes and helped the Wolves end defeat Memphis, 90-89. Andrew Wiggins had a team high 8 points. Mike Conley scored 15 points and added 7 assists for while Marc Gasol and Jeff Green each added 15 points in the losing effort.

In the Wolves first game of the season--against Memphis-Marc Gasol scored a career-high 32 points and Zach Randolph added 25 points and 13 rebounds. Thaddeus Young scored 26 points; Mo Williams and Shabazz Muhammad added 18 and 13 points, respectively, but Memphis would emerge victorious, 105-101.

The season-series is split 1-1 so tonight's game is a rubber match.
