Cavs at Celtics
6:00 pm CDT
TNT
It's venue switch night in the first round of the NBA playoffs, as games threes mean the lower seeds get to host. Boston trails 2-0 in its series with the Cavs, but were reasonably feisty in both games in Cleveland. Ultimately, they couldn't keep up with the fire power the Cavs bring, and while it wouldn't be a shock to see them get a win in one of their home games, Cleveland appears well on their way to the 2nd round.
Bulls at Bucks
7:00 pm CDT
NBA TV
I really thought the Bucks would make a series out of this, and while they didn't get blown out in Chicago, they also couldn't score consistently enough to deal with the Bulls, who are getting a monster performance from Jimmy Butler. In addition, Derek Rose has shown more and more of his former all-star self, and the Bulls are beginning to look like they might be a tough out in the 2nd round against the Cavs. First they have to finish off the Bucks, and the Bradley Center should be full, hopefully with people wearing Fear the Deer T-shirts, because that is an awesome slogan.
Warriors at Peilcans
8:30 pm CDT
TNT
Anthony Davis has been a monster, but ultimately the Warriors talent won out in both games in Oakland, early in game one and late in game two. It's been a while since New Orleans has seen playoff basketball, and I'm hoping that the Smoothie King Center (just wanted to work that it) is loud and enthusiastic tonight. I'm also hoping that the Pels can grab one here, because this series has been pretty entertaining and I'd like to see more than four games of it.
Enjoy the games. Chat about them here.
