I'm not much of a college basketball aficionado, but I've been watching some of the tournament, mostly for draft purposes. There are probably eight or so players in this game who will someday appear in the NBA, and at least four who will be first round draft picks (at least three in the lottery) this June.

As for the game itself...it could be pretty good. I'm committed to battening down the hatches and staying behind locked doors here in Madison for the night; win or lose one imagines various things getting set on fire and other drunken behavior tonight. Of course, that's a usual weekend here, but things could get really out of hand with the excuse of a national championship basketball game on the agenda.

From an "anything is better than another win for those smarmy bastards from Duke" perspective, I guess I'll be rooting for the locals--that and I kind of like Nigel Hayes' swag. Of course, of all the guys in this game, Jahlil Okafor is the most likely member of the Timberwolves next season, so we'll be keeping a close eye on him and his match up with Frank Kaminsky.
