Quick one today:
Bulls at Cavs
6:00 pm CDT
TNT
No Pau Gasol tonight, who continues to suffer from a hamstring problem. These two teams exchanged buzzer beating wins in Chicago, and head back to Cleveland all even at two games a piece. Game four felt like a missed opportunity for Chicago, and it might wind up haunting them, as they will now have to win once more in Cleveland in order to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Clippers at Rockets
8:30 pm CDT
TNT
The Clippers will look to end the series on the road, having dominated both games at home in Los Angeles to forge a 3-1 series lead. Frankly, the Rockets have been terrible, and terribly disappointing. Their failure to compete, the reliance on a (bad) hacking strategy that has seemingly done more to kill their own rhythm than hamper the Clippers, and their atrocious bench play has really made this series non-competitive. Meanwhile, the Clippers look good--Blake Griffin is killing the playoffs, DeAndre Jordan is doing his thing, they are getting Dwight Howard into foul trouble, and their shooters are hot--39% from three. No doubt they would like to put this series out of our misery and get ready for the Western Conference Finals. Does Houston have a last stand in them?
