The Lynx traded long-time reserve guard Monica Wright for Seattle Storm guard (and former Lynx) Renee Montgomery and a 2016 2nd round pick yesterday in an attempt to bolster their lineup for another title run. Lindsey covered it here, but it was a move made because the Lynx needed another healthy guard with both Wright and Seimone Augustus out following arthroscopic knee surgeries.
Montgomery should provide some bench production behind Lindsay Whalen and Anna Cruz for the league leading Lynx.
Karlito is putting in the work:

The Spurs wound up winning the tournament over the summer suns, while Kyle Anderson was league MVP. Be interesting to see if he carves out a role with the Spurs this season.
Because there is nothing going on Wolves-wise right now, go here and order a Canis Hoopus T-shirt if you haven't already.
Hmm. That's about all I got.
