NBA news is at its lowest point these days, but the celebrity showings keep occurring for the Wolves.

Karl-Anthony Towns appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s show alongside Kevin Spacey this Friday while Zach LaVine recently appeared in this hilarious Foot Locker commercial. Other than that, here’s an inside look at Andrew Wiggins’ offseason Strength & Conditioning Training. As Eric noted, Andrew (and Anthony) will likely participate in the FIBA Americas for Team Canada, so that’s what we’re expecting to happen next in the world of our Wolves.

The Lynx went 2-1 this past week, with wins over the San Antonio Stars and the Atlanta Dream and a loss yesterday versus the Washington Mystics. Sylvia Fowles has impressed as expected since her arrival on the team while Maya had an incredible game during Friday’s 16-point comeback win vs. the Dream - 36 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. The team has clinched a playoff berth already and should be close to full strength with Seimone Augstus’ return last week.

Finally, I’ve opted to refrain from posting my 2k video for the week. I lost at the buzzer vs. the Warriors in Game 1 of the semi-finals.

Instead, here’s a great flashback video that emerged yesterday of KG’s first ever 20-point game.This came in 1996 against MJ and the 72-10 Bulls. Also to note: there’s appearances by Spud Webb, Sam Mitchell and more. I watched the whole thing since the Wolves stayed pretty close until the 4th Quarter. Young KG is something else.
