Thursday Therapy: Preview Season

New, comments

As the NBA season slowly draws closer, we continue to consider the possibilities.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, and welcome to the Therapy couch for a short session today.

  • The Lynx are on NBA TV tomorrow night as they travel to New York to face the Liberty. Only six games remain in the regular season, and they will want to bounce back from their loss to the Phoenix Mercury last week. They see the Mercury again on Sunday on ESPN 2, a big game in the race for the West's #1 seed. The Lynx currently have a 2.5 game lead on Phoenix.
  • The Wolves are at the Minnesota State Fair, and while it likely won't be as exciting as last year's edition and player appearances could be scarce, you can still stop by their area if you're going to be by. The Facebook event is here.
  • Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and team Canada are tuning up for the FIBA Americas tournament, wrapping up a 78-72 victory over Puerto Rico last night. Wiggins had a nice dunk over J.J. Barea, which some of you might enjoy. Wiggins looked ready for the tournament.

As the week wraps up, we'll continue to have season preview content appearing, with division and player previews. They, much like winter, are coming. Enjoy your day!
