Rarely used fourth point guard John Lucas III did not expect the Wolves to be up thirty-plus points last night against the Philadelphia 76ers and therefore did not expect his “services” to be required in the game so he tried to get in a quick stair workout prior to tip-off.
Lucas III is a diminutive guy at 5’11” and 166 lbs and because of that, when he was running the stairs, a few Wolves fans thought he was maybe an athletic trainer or assistant coach. Wanting to commemorate their Thursday evening at Target Center, the fans thought it wouldn’t be a big bother to ask for a quick photo opp.
And the hilarity ensues.
You do know that John Lucas plays for your team, right? https://t.co/uEowzOjHOD

Hat-tip to JLIII for taking fan-friendliness to new levels.
Good job. Good effort everyone.
