Chance the Rapper and Jeremih dropped a surprise mixtape at 1:42 a.m. on Thursday morning called Merry Christmas Lil Mama'.
The nine song project by the two Chicago rappers is an awesome early Christmas gift. I haven’t quite decided which track is my favorite but since this is the track of the week, and I can only pick one, I’ll go with I Shoulda Left You featuring Lud Foe.
“Chance and Jeremih address the haters they should have left behind and add their voices to the ‘2016 was the worst’ chorus,” according to Genius. It’s an ode to moving on in the new year.
If the DJ don't play I Shoulda Left You, All The Way or Merry Christmas Lil Mama at the party tonight, tell em TAKE YO ASS ON!

Towards the end of the song, Chance remembers some the greats we lost this past year.
Rest in peace to great David Bowie
Please can we get back Prince?
Please can we get back Kim?
Bo Slice, boy I swear that they gave you life
Shoulda left your ass in the pen'
Please can we get back Craig Sager?
Leave your ass at the rim
Three feet, no pressure, no press, no questions
Actually one simple question
Here’s the entire mixtape:
Happy Holidays, Canis familia.
