Pelicans at Wolves
7:00 pm CDT
FS North
The last game of the season brings fellow lottery team the New Orleans Pelicans to town to face our Wolves. Around the league, games to determine crucial playoff positioning will be played, to say nothing of the Warriors attempt to set a wins record, and we'll be here, watching two lotto teams go at it.
Having written too much already today, I'm not going on at length about this tilt. Both teams are locked into their positions, and I'm sure both would like to end the season on a winning note. The Wolves especially were on a nice little run before the Rockets debacle, and no doubt would like to end things with a win.
This will be the last game in a Wolves uniform for...some players, who it isn't exactly clear, but there will be some roster turnover, there always is.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for staying with us throughout the season. Of course we will be busy through the summer on both the Wolves off-season and the Lynx, but as another season comes to a close, I appreciate all the support and interest you give. I wrote a piece at the start of the season about why we root: Community, intellectual exercise, and hope, all of which are satisfied here on Canis Hoopus, thanks to all the wonderful readers and commenters.
I hope you have enjoyed our coverage this season. The summer should prove fascinating.
