The Wolves issued a press release today confirming the date that plenty of fans have been inquiring about. The organization will host a press conference at Target Center on Tuesday, April 26 to introduce the team’s new basketball operations leadership group, Tom Thibodeau and Scott Layden. I will be in attendance at the presser and will publish some takeaways from the event afterwards.

This is a new open thread, so chat about what ever strikes you at the moment. In terms of the playoffs, there are three more games tonight. Below are the details, spreads, and my quick predictions. Happy Friday!

Cavaliers at Pistons (Cavs up 2-0)
6:00 pm CT
ESPN

Spread: Cavs -5

Prediction: Cavs win by seven points. Stanley Johnson is not in LeBron's head, tonight will prove that.

Hawks at Celtics (Hawks up 2-0)
6:30 pm CT
ESPN2

Spread: Celtics -3

Prediction: Celtics by four points to cover the spread and give themselves a little bit of life back home. Losing Avery Bradley has really hurt their chances, and Marcus Smart and Kelly Olynyk are banged up too, but I think Boston finds a way to win tonight.

Spurs at Grizzlies (Spurs up 2-0)
8:30 pm CT
ESPN

Spread: Spurs -12

Prediction: Spurs by 15+ points. I bet they easily cover the spread, destroy the Grizzlies, and get one game closer to the inevitable sweep of the injury-ravaged Grizzlies.
