Post Draft Night: Celebration or Therapy Group?

Once again Eric in Madison will be in Madison in name only as he heads West for the education and jobs and health care and culture and all of the other advantages Minnesota holds over Wisconsin. Okay, I'm joking. He's coming to see the Minnesota Lynx in person.

Anyway, this will give us a chance to get together and celebrate or commiserate as it will be occurring directly after the NBA draft. Will we be desperately trying to talk ourselves into the upside of Buddy Hield or salivating as we imagine the new core of Ricky Rubio, Andrew Wiggins, Karl-Anthony Towns and Jimmy Butler. I guess we will all know soon enough.

So here's the deal: Eric and I have tickets to the Lynx game on Friday June 24th. We will be sitting in Section 116 Row S. If you are going to the game stop by and say hello and maybe even meet up with us before hand and a downtown establishment. If you are looking for something to do that night buy some tickets and come on down.

I'm trying to avoid just going to Kieran’s Irish Pub before the game but if enough people are joining us the size and location are hard to pass up. If it's just a few of us I may try for someplace better so state your intention in the comments below and I will declare a final plan when the time comes. I'm guessing we will head down town somewhere between 4:00 and 5:00 pm on the 24th. The Lynx tip off at 7pm.

Eric will also be in town on Saturday the 25th. In the interest of simplicity and planing we will just head down to http://bauhausbrewlabs.com around 6pm and hope that some members of the Canis Hoopus community come join us. Once again, changes will be posted in the comments below so if you are planing to meet up (and we hope that you are) let us know in the comment section be sure to bookmark this post.

I guess that's it. Simple plan for a simple man.

Go Lynx! Go Wolves!
