Wolves open up the season against the Spurs

The New Wolves Order is upon us. The Wolves face their first test of the season with the vaunted San Antonio Spurs, although the Spurs’ star Kawhi Leonard will not be suiting up for tonight’s game.

This is a game that the Wolves should win if they are to be considered a true contender in the West. However, all of the roster turnover for the Wolves may contribute to a rather clunky opening, particularly on offense as the new starting lineup figures out how to work together.

The Spurs currently have a 13-game winning streak against the Wolves. Let’s hope that this is the first streak of losing that the Wolves break this season. They have their eyes set on breaking that playoff streak and that starts here.
