Jazz at Wolves
7:00 pm CDT
FSN
The Wolves return to the newly renovated Target Center for their home opener against the Utah Jazz. Of course, this game features the return of Ricky Rubio, about whom Drew wrote earlier today.
The Jazz won their season opener at home against the Nuggets, while the Wovles will be looking to get in the win column after their loss in San Antonio on Wednesday. They will be looking to improve on both sides of the ball, and especially hoping for a better performance from Jimmy Butler, who struggled some on Wednesday.
Tom Thibodeau is obviously still trying to figure out what combinations work with a largely revamped roster, and that experimenting will continue tonight against one of the top defensive teams in the NBA. The Jazz will be a tough test even without Gordon Hayward around anymore. They make everything tough on opponents, and showed their resilience in their comeback win on opening night.
It should be a good one, and hopefully the crowd is in to it, and hopefully Ricky gets a standing ovation.
