NBA: NBA Draft Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports

The Wolves made their annual trip to the NBA draft lottery, this time in the person of Andrew Wiggins. As always the Wolves did not move up in the lottery process, this time moving back one spot to seventh after the Kings moved up from the eighth spot.

Here is the full order:

  1. Boston Celtics (from Nets.)
  2. Los Angeles Lakers
  3. Philadelphia 76ers (from Kings)
  4. Phoenix Suns
  5. Sacramento Kings (from 76ers)
  6. Orlando Magic
  7. Minnesota Timberwolves
  8. New York Knicks
  9. Dallas Mavericks
  10. Sacramento Kings (from Pelicans)
  11. Charlotte Hornets
  12. Detroit Pistons
  13. Denver Nuggets
  14. Miami Heat

What will the Wolves do with their pick? Jonathan Isaac will certainly be a popular choice as we’ve discussed already, but Tom Thibodeau has discussed the need for shooting at length this off-season.
