A quick game thread tonight due to some scheduling confusion....

The Wolves take on the top team in the Eastern Conference when the visit Boston this evening. It’s been a good run for the Wolves recently despite Wednesday’s disappointing loss in Brooklyn, and this is a terrific opportunity to measure themselves against a terrific opponent as the head into a much tougher portion of their schedule.

The Celtics have won four in a row and are coming off a rout of the Cleveland Cavaliers. They have seemingly righted the ship after a brief slump, and still feature the league’s best defense. They hold teams to the lowest eFG percentage in the league, opposite from the Wolves, and that’s something the Wolves will have to overcome. Finding offense can be very difficult against the Celtics.

I think it will be vital for the Wolves to hammer the offensive glass and get Karl-Anthony Towns heavily involved if they are to have a shot at winning tonight.

On the other end, how they guard the dynamic Kyrie Irving along with the waves of athletic wing players the Celtics can throw out there will be huge.

Not a lot of time to write more, so we’ll leave it with...
