Hey, here’s a poem for the holiday, re-imagined from Shakespeare.
Song of the Thibs: Double Double Toil and Struggle
Double Double Toil and Cover
Double the post & recover
Fillet of Towns doubling down
On Jimmy still in town
Wiggins bruise and Mayo bubble
Gorgui sits and more trouble
A squawking Glen and teams complaining
A helpless Layden and no explaining
Eye of Josh, toe of Jones
Sacrificed for a perfect Rose
Double Double Toil and Cover
Double the post and recover
Ignore the louder screaming hordes
The Thibs has his own reward
I freely admit this is a terrible effort. Feel free to do better in comments.
