Although this season has felt like it has already lasted a lifetime with all of the ups and downs, the 2019 Wolves currently find themselves with a record of 20-21, only 2.5 games back of a playoff spot. With General Soreness and Tom Thibodeau no longer in the picture, Minnesota will continue to build off of their emotional victory Tuesday night in Oklahoma City. In the famous word’s of Andrew Wiggins’ brother, “Hallelujah.”
On the other end of the court tonight, the Mavericks have their own version of this popular worship expression, known simply to Mavs fans as “Halleluka”:
Since arriving in the United States last summer, Doncic has been a one-man rookie wrecking crew, averaging 19.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.9 assists. At just 19-years old, he’s already perfected his finishing move for opponents, which looks eerily similar to a young James Harden (except without all the traveling violations):
Ryan Saunders’ home debut + Luka Doncic + Dirk’s (potential) last ride in the Target Center? It figures to be a fantastic night for hoops in downtown Minneapolis.
