Well, we can’t have nice things, can we? If you were ever feeling like the highs of the Minnesota Timberwolves starting the season with two wins and zero losses was a bit too much for you, the crashing thud back to earth should serve well. First, it was the news that Karl-Anthony Towns had dislocated his wrist and is out indefinitely, then blowout losses to both Los Angeles-based teams rubbed salt into the fresh wound.
