(Super) Tuesday Cup of Canis

Get yer fresh thread.

Hello friends.

It’s Super Tuesday today, so if you live in a state holding a primary today, which of course includes Minnesota, I encourage you to get out and vote.

After Joe Biden’s solid win in South Carolina on Saturday, it’s pretty clear the power brokers in the Democratic Party have decided to push their chips in on him against Bernie Sanders. Both Mayor Pete and Amy Kobuchar dropped out and endorsed BIden over the past 24 hours.

We should have a clearer picture of what’s likely to happen after today.

I’ll say this: Joe Biden? Really? Guy has no chance in a general election campaign. He’s beyond toast at this point. He’s barely coherent. Frankly, if this is the direction it had to go, and it probably is—people with power, regardless of the milieu in which it exists, are loath to give it up—AKlo would have been a better choice. At least she makes sense when she talks.

Personally I wish Elizabeth Warren had more traction—and maybe she does better than expected today. Ideally, a debate between Warren and Sanders about how to move forward would be a pretty good primary battle. Unfortunately, looks like it’s gonna be just about everybody in the establishment lined up against Sanders.

That’s probably enough about politics, so I’ll just leave my tweet from yesterday here:

Anywho, the Wolves are in New Orleans to face the Pelicans tonight, on which more later, but I’m quite excited to get a chance to see Zion Williamson against our squad. Given the defensive disaster the Wolves have been lately, it could be epic.

Gerson Rosas was on the radio yesterday and provided a word salad when asked about the return of Karl-Anthony Towns:

I have no evidence for this, but I am guessing we do not see Towns play again this season. Partly because, as PDWolves suggested, they probably don’t want Towns to return and have it look absolutely terrible. Maintain some mystery for next season.

We’ll see.

Anyway, just thought we needed a fresh thread for the day.
