Magic 132, Wolves 118: Yuck.

Minnesota gets blown out at home.

NBA: Orlando Magic at Minnesota Timberwolves Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

We’re going to keep this one short and sweet tonight so that everyone can enjoy the remainder of their Friday evening.

It was a pretty pathetic effort defensively from the Wolves, which is saying something considering how bad the Magic are on offense. They literally made a bad offensive team look like the 2015-16 Warriors offensively.

However, I refuse to let myself get upset about an early March game between the Wolves and Magic. Just can’t live your life that way, I guess.

The team still provided enough fun moments for me to kind of enjoy the game, anyways.

I mean, really, it was about how much fun Malik Beasley was. There were too many duds tonight, specifically D’Angelo Russell, but Beasley was so much fun.

The third quarter explosion from Beasley was something else. Even on a team that really doesn’t have much to play for, he brings it every night and you can’t complain about that. I’m so glad that he’s going to be a part of this franchise for a long time.

Outside of Beasley, it was an ugly game. This was D’Angelo Russell’s worst game as a Timberwolf, and man, was it a dud, going just 2-14 from the field. That’s part of the variance you accept with him, though, since he doesn’t really get to the rim.

Whatever, like I said, I’m not going to let an early March Wolves/Magic tilt put a damper on my evening.

Lastly, our thoughts and prayers are with Steve Clifford, who had to leave the game for health-related reasons.

Thanks for following along, and have a great weekend, folks.
