We’d been waiting for Malik Beasley’s suspension to come down for a while now, and that wait is now over.
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Malik Beasley -- a Most Improved Player candidate -- is being suspended 12 games by the NBA for conduct stemming from charges in offseason, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

Beasley and the Timberwolves have sent out the following statements:
Statement from Timberwolves‘ Malik Beasley (@Mbeasy5): "I will take this time to reflect on my decisions. I apologize to all the great fans out there who have supported me during this difficult time and I promise I will come back very soon as a better person and player.” https://t.co/zJrShlbCtn

It’s tough timing for the Wolves, as new coach Chris Finch will be without both D’Angelo Russell and Malik Beasley for a while now, but this should give him a chance to get a good look at Jaylen Nowell and Jarrett Culver. Other than that, there isn’t too much to say on this, other than that it is somewhat nice to have some clarity on the matter.
In the meantime, there is still some good basketball to view if you’re a Timberwolves fan.
No Wolves games for two days...

Might be time to watch some Cade Cunningham...
