What To Watch For
The Minnesota Timberwolves, currently the 15th seed in the Western Conference, wrap up their current road trip Monday night as they square off against the 14th seed in the West — the Dallas Mavericks.
Canis scheduling issues will make this a super quick preview, but tonight should be a great opportunity for the cellar-dwellers of the West to battle it out and try to regain some momentum as the season progresses.

As the tweet above indicates, the Wolves will once again be without both Karl-Anthony Towns and Jarrett Culver, although it does seem like Karl (who was technically upgraded to DOUBTFUL entering today’s matchup) is getting closer to making his on-court return. As for JC, from what I understand it definitely was a pretty nasty ankle sprain, but he too could make his return towards the end of the week as well.
On the other end of the court, I *believe* the Mavericks are at relatively full strength, minus maybe our dear friend James Johnson who entered the day as QUESTIONABLE due to left knee soreness.
Neither of these two teams is having much fun playing basketball this week, and while one of them (Dallas) came in with far greater expectations than the other, it still should be an interesting game to follow as the two franchises try to right some of their wrongs and bounce back from sluggish starts to both of their seasons.
As always, thanks to everyone for stopping by, providing commentary, and supporting everything we do here. I hope you are all well, safe, and have a fantastic rest of your evening (and week).
Go Wolves.
