After knocking off the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves improved to 12-9 in games when all three of Karl-Anthony Towns, D’Angelo Russell, and Anthony Edwards play (they are 10-7 with their “Big Three” since D-Lo’s return from knee surgery).
On today’s pod, we reflect on what that record really means, and then touch on other Wolves-related topics, including:
- How much exactly the numbers have been inflated by these last two blowouts against Detroit and Orlando.
- Russell showcasing his special playmaking ability as of late (D-Lo is now averaging 8.3 assists and just 2.4 turnovers over his last ten games).
- What the Wolves in-house options at power forward might be if they decide to not address the position in the offseason. Could the answer simply be Jarred Vanderbilt? What about Juancho Hernangomez? NAZ REID?
